there was a season, early eighties when we were stuck in the bottom 6 at christmas and won the title.
I'm not for one second suggesting this is going to happen this year but I just wondered what the fans views were at the time? sack the manager, the players etc?
People these days, me included have no patience.

I take your point but who was manager then? Someone who we had faith in, someone who had won things with us, one of us? Or an outsider with a mediocre record?
I'm uneasy at the calls to sack Hodgson but I must admit I find him very, very uninspiring.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I'm not comparing the quality of manager, thats obviously Roy...I mean Bob or was it Joe, christ my brain is dying in my thirties! No it was Bob.
Just saying that these days its instant results and performances over a little time and patience. Would Kenny have faired better? I'm pleased we don't have to find out, I can live with Roy's name going the ****ter but not the Kings.

It's nearly October. Surely that will spell the end for H&G. We can surely look forwards then? This must be getting to the players - I imagine the chat about what might happen must be reaching fever pitch in the club.

The board made a big mistake getting rid of our former manager. Patience should have been the by word then, not now.
If we win every game from now until the end of the season we'll finish on 101 points.
Isn't it 102 points?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
