If your team isn't built around Joe Cole, you're not getting the best out of him. He's a luxury player to the extreme.

He didn't play enough games throughout his career there.

He did play very well for them more often than he didn't.

The only period in which he did well for them was when they played 4-3-3 and he was one of the wide forwards. He had freedom in that system to do what he wanted. In a 4-4-2 you're never going to get the best from him, unless he's playing off the striker, and even then, he's easy to mark there.

i think he is a player with some great quality.

however maureen, capello and ancelotti all havent really had his as a regular and that must say something.

he has ability that cant be doubted but there is more to the game than that.
