As much as Rafa is one of us and obviously loves the club, he's also maniacally professional - no way would he come back now. IMO he'll finish the job at Inter before he entertains going anywhere else.

imagine they'll take advice from lots of people until they find someone who really knows what he's talking about, rather than just believe someone they reckon knows something about the game like klinsmann.
King Kenny is probably the key man when it comes down to the manager. They will listen a lot to him and his advice.

          Is the correct answer

I think nearly everyone is agreed we need to make the change, but given we will have new owners, are we comfortable with asking Kenny to do the job long term ?
Or do we go for someone like Pellegrini now ? (was my own personal choice after Rafa got shafted)

Everyone loves a bit of romance, nowt wrong with that.

                Imagine the homecoming.

But, we've got to be realistic.

Personally, I think he'll have the season and they'll evaluate from there. Something similar to what happened at Chelsea when Abramovich took over and gave Ranieri a season.
I'm uncomfortable with this sentiment.Nothing is resolved,we are still owned by the cunts who have committed to dragging us through the courts to get their way.Forget everything else about LFC and keep the pressure on the cunts until we are actually owned by other people

Seriously, I don't think he'll come back, not now anyway and certainly not with the current board. But I'm sure, if the new owners were willing to take listen to us fans, I'm sure a good majority would love to see him back.

But, an up and coming young manager, like Deschamps, Pellegrini (is he that young though?), Guardiola (if we could entice him away from Barca) would be great.

Hear immediate plans to alter #LFC management. Unlikely NESV will announce a new chief exec or other management changes right now.

I think the feelgood factor some of then players might feel by new owners, association with the Redsox etc will be dampened by what's going on football-wise in Melwood. Bring in a new man asap.

To be honest I wouldn't imagine they would come in and be gung ho about sacking Hodgson, I'd imagine they would take advice from people like Purslow and Ayre, about that rather than firing him on day one. I'd imagine that means he'll be given some more time but if things stay as they are at present then he'll be on his way out sooner rather than later.
