    What now for Roy?

With the ownership situation seemingly resolved, what will happen to Roy? Will the new owners bring in their own man or will Roy be here for the long haul?

Personally, I think he'll have the season and they'll evaluate from there. Something similar to what happened at Chelsea when Abramovich took over and gave Ranieri a season.

I hope we ship him out asap. He is just not capable of top level management.

Sack him, not even remotely the right candidate.

            He must be ****ting himself.

I feel sorry for him really. Can't blame him for accepting the challenge but he's got to go.

Cannot afford to allow Roy the luxury of spending in January, assuming the new owners will supply funds. He is out of his depth.
But on the other hand, any new owners may not be tempted to smash Liverpool around initially, and may want to keep an "English ethic" for example (however misguided) and that may, at the very least, buy Roy some time.
I wonder who the new owners will have advising them on real footballing matters though (although I'm sure they already have had someone).....that could be very pivotal in any managerial shakeup from the outset.

Case of wait and see....that's all we can do.

I think that he will be sacked. They probably want a new manager to spend the money in January.

Purslow will probably also be removed and Broughton will of course also go because his job is done. Ayre is probably safe because he has done a very good job.

Hopefully. I will be praying to Allah all day today that he gets the sack. I will also make sure that my one and only birthday wish is for this useless manager to get the chop.

I'd like to see him leave and Dalglish brought in. The sooner the better - Hodgson just doesn't have the right philosophy for this club. I wouldn't trust him with money to spend in January.

you've got to believe if they're spending hundreds of millions of pounds, they'll make sure to get some good advisers. ok, h&g didn't, but then again, they didn't care.

imagine they'll take advice from lots of people until they find someone who really knows what he's talking about, rather than just believe someone they reckon knows something about the game like klinsmann.

Anyone with the skills needed to do a 'viral' so that we get Rafa back? Mike Jeffries? Anyone of his ilk in here?

Yep, no hard feelings. He was a fairly likeable man until the pressure soon started to tell on him. Hopefully he'll find another club at his level and we will get the manager we deserve again.
