Lets pray to every god of every religion to get this senile man. Hodgson stands no chance against all the godsOriginally posted by Redspin View PostI'll be praying to Allah too and I'm not even a Muslim! Might even nip into the local synagogue to see what one does there and will light a candle at the local Catholic church. I'd do anything if I thought the useless ******* would be gone

not a legendary manager in point of fact. he was in the marketing division of another club before he became a manager. he was a statistics nerd though, so there's that.Originally posted by el matador View Postkeep the faith pal.
These guys have already proved that they know how to make clubs successful and they brought in some legendary manager who transformed the Red Sox' fortunes.
I genuinely think they will ask him to come back. Maybe not immediately but xmas or next season for defo.
he's a legend now, by gum.dave of mutilation

I cant believe every time i flick on to SSn some former Red is saying give Hodgson time, give him a chance......
Phil Thompson, Redknapp even Aldo on the radio, are these people not watching us play?
They are supposed to be experts yet they cant see what 42000 fans and many armchair fans can see, I know they will want to back a fellow professional but at some point you have to do whats best for the team and the club and Woy being manager clearly isnt.
An an aside, if he gets the England manager's job after Capello, Woy will be cwucified, the press will have an open field day on him for his tactics, piss poor negative football and his bizarre after match comments.

Of course some of them probably don't know much but you have to wonder why they're not calling for Hodgson to go.Originally posted by Danoner Forrest View PostI cant believe every time i flick on to SSn some former Red is saying give Hodgson time, give him a chance......

I think they're probably taking different things into account, or at least weighting them differently from us. I can't believe they feel we're doing OK and you're starting to hear ex-players (both LFC and from elsewhere) start to question whether Hodgson needs to change his tactics. Yet they aren't going as far as many fans. Why?
I think the thing is that they are experts about some things of which we know little or nothing. For instance, they know a lot more about how players think than we do - perhaps they feel a call for calm and patience from us and a focus on the players' shortcomings might make the team pull together. They also might believe yet more instability in the club makes things worse. They might feel Hodgson isn't going to be sacked so feel it's better to rally the troops than snipe from the sidelines. They might think you don't undermine the manager until he's gone...
If so many aren't calling for Hodgson's head, there has to be some rational reason for it. That doesn't mean they're right but to think they're all deluded if they don't see things our way might rather suggest we don't know everything..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Not calling for the manager's head is sensible and out of most things, experts want to be seen as sensible, not as revolutionists.
Are we winning?

Very good.
NB Private joke.
