I know it's desperate times, and none are happy about the way it goes, but what is the point on turning on new players coming to a club where little functioning?

I know that this has in a way been swallowed by the huge news, but was anyone else really irritated by his interview on Sky today. He hasn't been at the club five minutes and has hardly covered himself in glory and then comes out with this ****. I just don't think it's the Liverpool way and it strikes me that he could be Roy's "guy in the dressing room", something that we haven't seen since Ged's days.

Play the ball, not the man. He was merely stating the obvious, as others have pointed out. If Erik Meijer gave an interview about the state of the club then it's fair enough so long as he's talking sense. ****eness on the pitch doesn't take away a player's right to an opinion off it.
