He's a half decent defender, especially for the likes of Blackburn, so there's no doubt they are weaker without him...........................weak enough for our machine to roll over them ? That's a different matter altogether............might win some of the hoof balls in the air I suppose, but seeing as how Torres will be in their half on his own, who's he going to knock it down to.
Ball bags the lot of them.......

Think Ryan Nelsen is injured too, so that's their first choice centre back partnership out of the game. We'll deffo get a draw now

Only a matter of time before Fat Sam comes out defending Hodgson and blaming everything on Rafa. What are the chances eh.

Who was slagging my beloved Samba

Samba is a rock for Blackburn, big loss and delighted he's out against us as he would crucify us in the air. Should be brilliant news for LFc when 6ft 4' Martin Skrtel actually learns to jump.

Yeah, have to admit I haven't seen a lot of Samba but he is very good in the air and every time he gets forward for corners he causes mahem which is something we struggle with and will avoid. Don't know much about his defensive ability...

You could make exactly the same statements about Soto IMO.

For sure, I think Samba is a lot more mobile than the Greek.

You make Chris Samba sound like Franco ****ing Baresi

Nonsense. He's a ****ing journeyman no mark of a player and the thought of us buying him, now we're under proper owners, is laughable. He's ****ing ****e

He sure looked a rock last night, where he couldnt control the ball, which led to Wellbeck going through on goal whom he then fouled and got sent off. He's a yard dog, and not a very good one.

Mate his performances over past 2 seasons have showed him to be a very effective CB, so picking one instance out isn't really conclusive, regardless if he had a stinker or not.

A journey man? He's only played for 3 clubs in his whole career. He ain't a world class CB, he is commanding and effective.

What you think the new owners are gonna give us 30 million to go out and get the best CB in the world? Nonsense pal, we won't be shopping at the top tier for quite some time with Real/Barca,Chelsea & City lurking. Suppose we could always get a quality signing like Maxi eh mate

No they havent, he's been adequate at best.

Basically, you see him score a goal on match of the day now and again and rate him becaue of it.
