Nonsense. He's a ****ing journeyman no mark of a player and the thought of us buying him, now we're under proper owners, is laughable. He's ****ing ****e

Have to say makes me also laugh when I hear some of the names banded about these days.

Would people take Samba ahead of Skrtel/Carra & Soto? Cause i know i certainly would.

dont rate samba any higher than those 3 so no, i would not take him.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

different strokes mate. My sister is a better defender than Skrtel though and my cocker spaniel has better technique than Soto

What you think the new owners are gonna give us 30 million to go out and get the best CB in the world? Nonsense pal, we won't be shopping at the top tier for quite some time with Real/Barca,Chelsea & City lurking. Suppose we could always get a quality signing like Maxi eh mate
He's ****. His standard of football is matched up to your standard of posts.

You think it's either £30m for 'the best CB in the world' or Chris Samba? Sky-fan bull****, right there.

And i didnt call Maxi a 'quality signing', i said in the context of our budget constraints, a fully fledged Argentina international, who has played at the top level, went to the world cup and is technically a very sound player, for free, was a good signing.

Basically, you see him score a goal on match of the day now and again and rate him becaue of it.
LDP only rates players who are like Messi and/or do step-overs, and defenders who he sees score a goal on MOTD.

**** me you get some grief on here!!

Samba isn't what we are looking for moving forwards, he really isn't - he should be playing at the level he is although there are a few currently in our squad that should certainly be ****ing off and joining him!

Maxi has been ****e for us but he is an Argie international and cost nothing - you would expect more than he's given us, Aqua a very good player but perhaps not cut out for this league - hard to tell as he didn't play much but he's not here now anyway, Johnson hasn't been playing well this season but he's a decent footballer and would be 1st choice right back at most teams in the PL and the Greek - not an outstanding footballing talent but for teams like Stoke etc... he'll head that ball out all day long and stick his foot in.

Kryiagkos was a great buy really.

He isnt Sergio Ramos, doesnt do step overs and LDP hadnt heard of him before we signed him, so he wont accept what a good signing he was.

Thought he was horrible when he first arrived, shipped a few goals thanks to his mistakes but to be fair he's settled in and performed pretty well for us.

He's a pale imitation of Hyypia though.

i'm at a bit of a loss what to post about. the takeover is sorted, the football is nothing much to look at and i've already said what i wanted to about hodgson. its all a bit boring nowt? i spose i could argue with dan perkins, but that's a bit sad really isn't it? i'm completely removed from our results atm moment except fo the idea that bad ones move hodgson closer to the door and are inevitable.

wake me up when there's a new manager or the window slams open.

Samba is an average premier league defender and that's all. Lfc do need at least one new cb, but we need someone better than Samba.
