I'd prefer Babel or Pacheco tbh, bit of pace and flair. Those 2 have lots of potential to fulfill. Well Babel's been waiting a while for, but I've still got faith he can show some glimpses he showed in his first 2 season, giving he gets more games.

Sooner or later we'll start getting the ball through to Torres, and sooner or later Torres will start to play again like we know he can and then it won't matter who the CBs are.

My take is, Hodgson is not good enough to build a challenging side here but should be able to secure a mid table position. At present he's struggling (obvious I know) and is not being helped by some of his top players. But in the long term he needs to be replaced by a proven successful manager (not easy I know) and maybe that's the answer in the short term as well. For me Martin O Neil is an obvious talented choice and is available, he is passionate and won't stand for mediocrity .

However, To get out of this mess now the players need to up their game, they were out fought by Everton, that would never have happened under Rafa. There is some real class in the team,Torres, Gerrard, Cole, Kuyt, etc it's time they showed it a bit more.

Certainly wont, and nor will any other young players play in the league. The bellend is obsessed with old players. This sums his whole policy up, youngsters to him are an irritation.

"If Glen doesn't play then Jamie will play at right-back. Carragher will play anywhere you ask him and he is just a marvellous Liverpool player and club servant. He and Steven Gerrard are what Liverpool is all about.

"Jamie is a centre back and that is where I think he should be playing. I don't like having to move him to full-back but it would be wrong to put young Kelly into the team and leave someone like Kyrgiakos or Skrtel out. We need the experience."

                        We are looking at IMO:

                        Reina
                        Carra - Sotirios - Skrtel - Koncesky
                        Meireles - Gerrard - Lucas - Cole
                        Maxi
                        Torres
                        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Well Fat Sam thinks hes good enough to manage Madrid so we all know the value of his opinions

I actually think he will end up as a rightback but it may be he goes inside for awhile before coming back out

To me he reminds me very much of Markus Babbel but you have to remember hes only a young lad

Not looking forward to Sunday. Bloody Blackburn. Horrible long ball, uninventive, clueless football. And Blackburn.

                              So true and so depressing.
                              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
