well if that's the case why dont they do something to let us know - wink into the camera when they're defending Hodgson, or stress on a word if its a radio interview or something. Personally I think they both saw this as a great opportunity to "own" the team with an English manager who was never going to jack **** to stand up to them - and its gone badly wrong for them."Love, love is a verb

Trouble is we dont know what they are really thinking however if NESV is listening to that contingent and not the foreign Reina and Towers fella then we could be stuck with Hodgson for a while yet whilst the Mancs and that sucked out of the air £60m slur Alex is going to have in January means that they are already preparing for Jan, whereas the time it takes NESV to reverse their support interview new managers and support team will leave it impossible to bring in the right players in time dismantle the jowly one's mess and rebuild with a possible relegation battle. I disagree completely. Kyrgiakos is very mobile for a CB while Samba is a plodding big lump. Frankly he's so **** I'm sorry he'll miss the game. A definite weak link for any pacey forward to exploitOriginally posted by Fernandinho View PostFor sure, I think Samba is a lot more mobile than the Greek.

It stands to reason that that would be the case as he is a CB and is only being tried out at RB. In that position he's adequate cover but he's a really excellent natural CBOriginally posted by Mostar View PostHe would be miles better in CB position and I hope he gets a chance to prove it.

If you can give me an example of his being skinned by an opposition forward in the way Carragher frequently has in the past two seasons I'll agree with you. Just one will doOriginally posted by Craig_H View PostKyrgiakos is not 'very mobile' at all
You're the most red tinted, biased person i've ever come across.

I dont sit there and take notes, and i dont need to give you an example to know he isnt 'very mobile'. It IS allowed, to acknowledge that he isnt perfect, by the way. I love the guy, great signing, gives his all, aerially brilliant and great presence. But pace, mobility and ability with the ball at his feet, are not his strong points.Originally posted by Redspin View PostIf you can give me an example of his being skinned by an opposition forward in the way Carragher frequently has in the past two seasons I'll agree with you. Roy will concede ground and possession, which will play right into Fat Sams masterplan of getting more yardage than an American Football Runningback
Blackburn will push us further back (which we will gladly concede to) and then after the "5th tackle" Fat Sam will encourage them to toss the ball between the sticks and hope that someone carries it over the line

Sad thing is it's absolutely spot on.
Has the team leaked yet?
My guess:
Reina
Carra
Kyrgiakos
Skrtel
Konchesky
Meireles
Poulsen
Gerrard
Jovanovic
Cole
Torres
I'd play
Reina
Kelly (Johnson if fit)
Carra
Agger (if fit)
Aurelio
Lucas
Meireles
Cole
Gerrard
Jovanovic
Torres
Subs: Jones, Skrtel, Spearing, Shelvey, Babel, Ngog, Maxi
Play a nice high line as Blackburn dont have the pace to hurt us in behind....if we sit back we'll play right into the hands of their Rugby tactics. Press high up the pitch and dont allow crosses and long balls into our box. Attacking full backs with Lucas sitting deep and protecting the CBs. Easy 3-0

Being mobile and getting done for skill are different things as well. Usain Bolt could get ripped by any good player everytime and most would accept that Bolt is "very mobile". When it comes to turning and sprinting off the mark and chasing etc, the Greek struggles.96 Never Forgotten
