I'm starting to think you might actually be disappointed to see Roy sacked Shaggy. It's quite hard to pick the Shaggyisms out from the rest of his inane drivel.

I know Rafa made some bad buys and all but it sickens me that we spent the large part of £10m on Poulsen and Konchesky. More like £12m if you throw in Brad sodding Jones. Pure, unadulterated muck.
Definitely ****ty buys. Hopefully he will take them with him on his next great journey.

Napoli made us look better than we really are. They didn't press us that much and backed off, Very strange tactic.

You could see that we had big problems as soon as they upped the tempo. As I said, very strange tactic. They can't have scouted us that much before the game because every other team have just pressed us and forced mistakes and dominated against us.

              Meh.

very good point actually, I said the same thing to my mate. They allowed us time on the ball at the back and as such we had no great problems.

Couldn't believe their tactics either, we've folded all season when under pressure and cant cope in possesion when teams shut us down. So they just sat off us, all night, and had nowhere near our strongest team.

                  Massive tactical fail that one.

Actually thought that was one of our better performances under the Hodge tonight.

It was immediately noticeable that we were pressing higher up the pitch (but still sat infuriatingly deep at times) and seemed to at least have a game plan and consistent shape.

Shelvey and Spearing can be proud of their performances and really busted a gut. Shelvey is definitely a star in the making and on that showing Spearing could still have a future with us, if only as a useful squad player.

The whole defence was solid if unspectacular and restricted them to few half chances but i was extremely disappointed in Napoli, on that showing a very poor side.

For some reason without any logic but i've started to feel sorry for Roy. I've wanted him out since the Man city game and i actually started to detest the man, every time he opened his mouth sent me into a rage. But tonight my more human side came out and i started to feel sorry for the man. Dont get me wrong i still want him sacked but maybe, just maybe, we should give him another 3 or 4 games!???

Haha i'm over it already. I just saw his post match interview on the highlights program in which he was fairly dignified (for once ) and my heart softened for half an hour or so.

The logical side of my brain, which has been opposed to him since the City game, has well and truly kicked back in and i want him removed forthwith

You gotta give the lads credit they fought hard for a draw. Superb. Credit where its due.

Roy was brilliant, set up his team and executed the plans perfectly

If that was Rafa he would be getting all the plaudits
