We should give him a pay rise too. Performance related.

Quite possibly, lets get a quick whip around from the lads to donate towards it

Performance wise did well considering the team we had out. Shelvey, Kelly and Spearing all impressed. They wearnt overawed by the occasion, by the atmosphere. Babel was poor mind, not just the miss becouse it wasnt the easiest chance but more his link up play, the ball just never stuck when it went to him, his first touch was poor. He also didnt track Dossena enough who put some good balls in our box. All in all, good performance wise considering the team we had out would of liked more attempts at goal but a draw in Naples with that atmosphere and the team we had out isnt a bad result at all.
When we hang the capitalists they will sell us the rope we use.

You could see that we had big problems as soon as they upped the tempo. As I said, very strange tactic. They can't have scouted us that much before the game because every other team have just pressed us and forced mistakes and dominated against us.

                  Meh.

                    How rubbish were Napoli???
At one point in the 2nd half they were attacking for a couple of minutes in our final third but had absolutely no-one in the box just continued to play it around and back.

It was like watching us play against ourselves, no pressure on the ball, sit back, defend deep then pass the ball for the sake of it in areas that don't hurt anyone.

Kelly did well again and Shelvey will be a player, disappointed that Wilson didn't feature and also why wasn't Pacheco involved?? he travelled (I think?)
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Yes, it was exactly like that.

Their keeper was a joke, flapping all over the place. Even with the team we put out we should of nipped a goal, babel should of scored when we broke, no idea how he shot it straight at the keeper???

Surely that sort of finish is exactly what you expect from a player low in confidence managed by a zero risk manager. My guess is that he was trying to make sure he gets the ball on target, rather than trying to maximise the chances of beating the keeper.

Are you daring to make a comparison with Zanetti's finish from much the same position on Wednesday?

Babel after the Napoli game: "It is always the same story, this is your chance, this is your chance," he told Sky Sports News.

"I don't see it like that any more, it is just another game and I do it for myself.

"My situation is clear for everyone so I don't need to talk about it, I have said enough things in the past so I don't want to talk about it."
