Meh...
a bluster first-half against an extremely poor side (who are weakened more than normal). Only positive is the pressing higher up the pitch, which anyone who's ever watched a game of football would tell you is the proper way to approach inferior teams, but thats the bare minimum expected from a Liverpool side.
Robinson made a few saves, and there may be a win in there for us, but would like to see a little more structure in our play in order to create more clear-cut opportunities.
Torres miles off the pace though which limits our ability to stretch them.

Lucas has been excellent IMO and I don't think he could have done anymore with that ball flying behind him which he didn't manage to control with his head.

Both fullbacks have tried to join play, Maxi has had a decent half. Gerrard still roving around a little too much, and Torres has actually been involved more as there's red shirts within 10/20 metres of him for the first time all season! We're very unlucky not to be ahead.

Torres really is off form. He's not had too many clear chances, but most times he gets the ball he's making the wrong decision at the moment. 60million? Sounds tempting.

Torres doesn't give a damn about Hodgson ....Torres wants out he's had enough...even if we get a top manager how long till were challenging.....Torres won't be at the club next season for sure

Dont' care if Blackburn are a weakened team so are we, they can still be awkward on their day, we've dominated the game but need to be taking our chances. 3 points is a must. And i agree best we've played all season.

Merieles could be an excellent player for us, if we ever get a decent manager who knows how to deploy him and his teammates. The lad definitely knows how to pass and move.

Even if we go on to win this he'll have much much more to do to save his job, but credit where it's due, that was a bloody good performance first half, for the first time this season. All that was missing was the goal.

Decent half. Blackburn are very poor though.

His final ball so far hasn't been very good - seems to have everything else in his locker though. Very mobile, competent passer, and a cracking shot on him.

I know he was stretching but he should have got his early shot on target.
