Steady on. I'm no fan of Hodgson but I wouldn't wish that on anyone. In German alopecia is known as "die schlimmste Krankheit" which I think says it all..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Martin Skrtel claims Liverpool have a plan to stop one of Stoke City's most potent weapons - Rory Delap's long throw.
The Slovakia international knows he and his defensive colleagues will have to be on their guard throughout Saturday's tea-time kick-off to deal with the unique threats posed by their hosts at the Britannia Stadium.
And Skrtel thinks goalkeeper Pepe Reina has an important role to play in making sure none of Delap's deliveries result in goals.
He explained: "We must try to be in the right place at the right time. It's not easy defending a long throw, so we have to be careful and work together with Pepe.
"We'll be very close to our goal, so we have to stay close to their players and try to clear space for Pepe to get it. Then he has to try to catch the ball."
Another challenge for Skrtel will be to deal with Kenwyne Jones, who he rates as one of the most imposing strikers in the British game.
"He's one of the strongest," said the No.37. "He's always strong, he's quick and he has some ability on the ball. It's not easy to play against a player like him.
"It's part of football to have a few bruises afterwards so I'm not worried about this.
"It's not easy but we cannot watch them. We have to look to ourselves. We have to play our own game to be successful.
"Stoke are a very strong and aggressive team. They play very physical football. It's not easy playing against them and it's going to be a difficult game.
"But I know and I believe we have a better team than them - better players. We just need to make sure we're as strong as them or stronger and we'll win."
A Sotirios Kyrgiakos goal earned Liverpool a 1-1 draw at the Britannia last season.
Tony Pulis has added several experienced names to his squad since then, including former Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant.
Skrtel added: "We had one season together before he left for Zaragoza. He's quite a good player. He's quite quick and we have to be careful because for him it'll be a special game as he's playing against his old team. He'll want to show some quality."Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Just of the scalp like. Don't really plan on imagining him with zero body hair. Although it's kinda hard to stop once you get the image in your head.Originally posted by Neil Young View PostSteady on. I'm no fan of Hodgson but I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Is that some sort of Harry Hill allusion? Bet he goes down well in Germany with his zany happy times.Felching ≠ Gerbilling

It's so crowded in there that I bet Pepe looks forward to punching/collecting amidst a body of players in front of him.
Are we winning?

We desperately need Soto against Stoke, i hope he's got over his illness. Forgetting the long throw by Delap, Stoke actually have great width and delivery from the wide areas in Etherington and Pennant (yes i said it), actually although i don't rate Pennant i always thought his delivery was the best part of his game.
Anyways IMO balls are gonna be reigning in our box, and for a bloke that is 6ft 4' Martin Skrtel is horrific in the air, i don't trust him. After making a balls of capitalsing on things at Wigan, again we have a good chance as Spurs have most of the squad missing against Sunderland, and Arsenal away to Everton, United away to Villa. Its tough game at Stoke though, Roy needs to stop playing players out of position, quit this ****ing retreating after scoring bull **** and start making some intelligent subs if necessary.
3 points is a tough ask, IMO it'll be a draw.
IMO:
-----------Reina----------
Kelly-Carra-Soto-Konch
Kuyt-Lucas-Gerrard-Maxi
---------Meireles--------
----------Torres---------
Hopefully Soto is fit, and i'd love to have Aurelio there instead of "The Gimp" as if he has a horrible habit of standing off wingers and letting them get crosses in, could be a nightmare scenario him playing.

I think we can sneak this though it will be raining balls in our box for probably the last 75 mins after a good start"Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone." Rafa, Legend
