Yeah i think your right mate, i was hoping Kuyt would be put on the right and Meireles played in a more central more begind Torres.

Aye it's a tricky one man because i do like Kuyt playing more centrally in certain games - worked a treat against Chelsea but sometimes you need him out wide.

With Meireles, i don't know where he's at his best tbh, yes he's a centre midfielder by trade but i've yet to same him make a tackle or look as tho he can hack it there.

As i said previously, i didn't really expect him to so i'll get over it.

As for Poulsen not starting...yeah that's good news but i'm not liking these stories that he was booed by his own fans when he came on the other night.
That's not really on is it, hopefully it was only a small minority.

I was there, it was very audible and not just a tiny handful.

I'm not a great Meireles fan to be honest but i don't think its doing him any favours playing him out on the right, i do like Torres to have someone up there with him, but i feel Kuyt offers more out right and as defensive cover.

Its a tough one and the signing of Meireles was baffling to me but i'd still like to see him used more centrally to get the best out of him, whatever that is.
