Nothing about humble pie dude, if you had read my posts mate you would see that i have never wanted Hodsgon here in the first place, never thought he was good enough but said give him a chance.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostYour posts are much better these days DP.
However it is ironic that you were getting on your moral high horse about 3 months ago about posts where I (and many others) mentioned at that time that I didn't think Roy was good enough (after Man City I think) and that Konchesky wasn't going to be anywhere near LFC standards. At this stage you were mentioning that we should give him 10 games. A large slice of humble pie for you fella.
I mentioned 10 games as i think it was a fair run, that time has been and gone mate. Poulsen/Konch/Meirlees all have been massive flops thus far, Cole the same and Roy has had a mare, horrible managerial decisions and doing himself no favours in his public speaking or the way he acts on the bench. Perfectly happy to give any player or manager the benefit of the doubt but sure you have to draw a line under it at some point and that time has been and gone, said he needed to go weeks ago mate but if he keeps on winning NESV ain't gonna sack him, but of course i don't want him here
We need a clear out players and manager alike.Last edited by danperkins; 14-11-10, 12:53 AM.

Id add kuyt, Carragher and Soto to that listOriginally posted by danperkins View PostStarting with the manager we need a serious ****ing clear out, there are players there that are just not getting make it. IMO
Babel
Skrtel
Maxipad
Poulsen
Konchesky (Has to be one of the worst LFC players of all time)
Spearing
Jovo
Lucas ? (Squad player)
Too many weak links, and i wouldn't let Roy near a transfer budget if he does stay (which i just cant see how he possibly could) NESV must be aware of how Roy is performing, SURELY!!!!!!!!! this will come to a head sooner rather than later!!!! Calamitious signings, calamitous tactics and formations, calamitous subs, NESV need to take action now!!!!!!Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield

We dont have a title winning side, but the squad we've got is capable of challenging for 4th, especially with this ****ty weak league.
Reina, Johnson, Agger, Meireles, Kuyt, Gerrard, Torres - that is the bulk of a very good team.
Add some width and creativity, and it's a class side.
It's nowhere remotely near as bad as our current plight suggests. The poison is the manager.
Talk of a clear out and overhaul, is bull****.
It's the bulk of a squad which went within 4 points of being champions. Since then, we've lost a couple of key players and acquired the worst manager i've ever seen in living memory. And he's a cunt, to boot.

Hodgson is a good manager. He's just not a good big ub manager. Out of his depth. He's not a bad guy. He just got of on the wrong foot and keeps putting his foot in it. Every comment he makes is over analysed. Things he does right are ignored. Things he ****s up on blown out of proportion.
Let's get this straight. Roy Hodgson will be burned up and more upset about these results than anyone on this site. I'm not too proud to say these results pray on my mind more than they should. I'm an lfc obsessive.
But I'm not going to pretend I care more than Roy. He is a genuine guy who would move heaven and earth to get us back to the top. Don't ever doubt that. Don't wish his life away. He is a true fighter and he's not a quitter.
So less of the personal insults. I've slagged him of myself but only heat of the moment stuff. However, know this. He may be a fighter. But he is still out of his depth.
I hope he leaves with dignity and his rep intact. He ain't a bad man.Forwards.......

Bollocks he will. He's not a Liverpool fan, he's just doing a job and getting paid hugely for it. Most of us live and breath LFC, we're Red through and through and it hurts.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostHodgson is a good manager. He's just not a good big ub manager. Out of his depth. Hodgson's only 'suffering' is down to his own personal career and professional reputation. He's not a Liverpool fan and other than wanting to do well for himself, he doesnt care about Liverpool Football Club.
To suggest he's suffering more than us, is utter bollocks.
