They needn't keep RH in charge while they're looking.
the assumption people seem to be making is that they are not looking for the right man as we speak.

remember they brought in comolli (cant spell) and we didnt know. they bought the club and no one mentioned them till it was announced.

they dont go round making bold statements they get on and do things but they do them quietly.

i wouldnt want kenny implicated into the crap on the field. The focus should be on getting the right man.

and the they dont care shows how fickle we are. of course they dont give a **** what happens to the 300m they spent.

Roy is dire and the football awful. but NESV want to set things up correctly for the long term.

The current situation is setting us back years. The 'setting things up correctly' argument is bollocks i'm afraid, because the damage that is currently being done will take years to correct.

Craig if your so good buy a football team and then run it your way. see if its successful. No one enjoys this. I will say we mucked up getting Roy so i imagine they dont want to make the same mistake again.

I think NESV are aware if not directly Comolli would have told them. The club isnt Torres and Riena. I would be gutted if they go, though i think that Riena going would do more harm on the pitch. However the club wants to be successful in the long term and i imagine this is what they are planning and working on

Well you may find that your knee jerk style wouldnt be the best way to run a club.

Being as passionate as you isnt the best way to make decisions if you run a club. its good in many ways in a fan. though some ways its bad and we are seeing the downside in the NESV dont care bollocks.

So keeping Hodgson and losing games/top players is the key to success. Right-oh then.

no getting the next manager right is. Craig i really cant be arsed. all this will turn into is two slightly different views being repeated. i knew i shouldnt post something that doesnt agree 100% with you. this is what would happen.

your not always right and because you post lots and like to shout louder doesnt make every single thing you post is beyond people disagreeing.

so that will be my last post on the matter, well in a thread that you are seem to be currently posting

am not making that assumption, i'm expecting that they'll get rid. if it's going to take them time to get the right man, let's get kenny in now. if they're on the verge of getting in the guy they want then great. they could still lose roy immediately though, and have kenny or the backroom staff take over for 1 or 2 games.

i understand you not wanting kenny to be implicated in any of this mind you.

that aside, i don't see a reason for not getting rid of roy right away though, whatever their ultimate plan is.

NESV have not paid £300m for us to simply finish in the top ten and have an old duffer as a manager.

They had to back Roy when they arrived as they didn't really know any better. They are putting the board and CEO together before they kick on and start running the club.

First of all you buy a house before you start to gut it out and clean it.

He will be gone as if the players have turned and the fan base is unhappy the writing is on the wall.

They can still take the time to find their new manager, but we'd be in safer hands. The players would all instantly respect Kenny, he has a winning mentality and is an advocate of attacking football. He was highly creative as a player, so will know what standards are required in a creative sense.

If someone could give me a good reason why this couldnt happen, i will happily listen. Nobody can though, it seems.
Perhaps they don't think having three managers in a season is good?

The REAL tragedy for me is that TBH I'd have taken relegation this season in order to rid us of the other two ****s. Even when MB & NESV ran the ****ers out of town I realised that this season was already a write-off and settled in for a fairly inoccuous season where we finish 8th or something. I figured it would take a good two or three years of building to get back into contention and back into the CL. To my total amazement this season's PL has been nothing short of astonishingly ****. Even accepting defeats at Everton, City and Man U etc just a few decent results elswhere (Blackpool, Sunderland, Wigan and Stoke etc and we could have been second .
I'm staggered this opportunity for a quick return has slipped through our fingers and blame that fat headed prick entirely. The ridiculous thing is, is that I STILL don't think it's beyond us to finish 4th or even better in this pile of **** that is the PL providing Hodgson gets bulleted pronto. Dalglish or Thommo would do fine till the Summer when we could go out and head hunt that young, talented manager we deserve at the club.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.
