I will never tire of supporting this club. Never!

However it is getting harder and harder to defend us at the moment. I always think myself lucky I dont support Everton though
    *Except Michael, who died.

Even Everton play more attractive football than we do just now.

We don't deserve this ****, none of us do. What the **** have we as fans and a club done to deserve such a rotten **** run of bad luck?

I can't take the ****, boring negative performances anymore. Why can't we go out and batter teams anymore, why do we we not have any skillfull players?

We do we not have any pace and trickery?

        Why is there no creativity?

        Why is there no confidence?

Why has the pass and move philosophy gone? Where has it disappeared to?

Where has the passion from the terraces gone?

Why are we a ****ing laughing stock?

Why the **** is the devil being allowed to rule up in Manchester, what have those cunts done to deserve to have success, what have they done to deserve to be even anywhere near where we are?

Why am I falling out of love with the game, why are Sky killing everything?

Why does it cost a fiver to park outside Anfield on matchdays?

Why does it cost so much for a programme?

Why does it cost so much for a burger at games?

Why do the media hate us so much?

Why the **** is Hodgson in charge?

Why can't we attract decent footballers anymore, why haven't we got someone like Dalglish or Barnes playing for us anymore?

So many questions and no answers. For ****s sake I just wish this club would sort itself out, I want the glory days to return. I want to fall in love with the game again.

I am sick to death at being depressed and having the piss taken out of me everyday for being a Liverpool fan. I am fighter, we all are but I don't want to go the rest of my life fighting and defending my team.

I want to wake up one day happy knowing that our team is going to put on a display that shows the world we are back, shows them how good we are that our fans are the best in the world.
badly worded post. Sound like a glory hunter although I am sure that's not what you meant to convey.

relax - we have owners who (appear to) want success on the pitch as much as we do. Be patient, they will do the right things when the time is right.

Now that I have learnt so much about the club I have come to expect so much more from us.
I do feel quite sorry for people who were too young to remember the late 70s and 80s. They were great, great times to be a Liverpool fan, even though there was absolute tragedy mixed with the success.

I still think that the greatest single performance I've seen in any club match was our 5-0 demolition of Forest in April 1988 where we played football that makes the current Arsenal team look like a bunch of hoofers.

          [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmyzLuxRBUE"]Liverpool vs Notts Forest 1988[/ame]
For those of us that remember that, the scale of our fall from grace is hard to take (although at least we're not Forest fans - they finished 3rd in Division 1 that year, and look how far they fell).

As for being tired of supporting Liverpool, I know where the OP is coming from. That tiredness isn't helped by the way that football teams now play out their business off the pitch in the full media glare. I think back to when Evans replaced Souness, and when Houllier joined Evans - in both cases the vast majority of fans only knew when they saw the press conference. Now everything that we do is dissected in minute detail by a hostile press.

When (not if) Hodgson goes, we'll all start to feel a lot better about things. When (not if) more players than just Reina, Gerrard, Carragher and Soto show real passion and commitment, we'll stop feeling that it's all about the money. And when (not if) we win number 19, we might be able to look back and realise that NESV made the right changes, but took their time to make sure that they were right.

Don't let the door hit your arse on the way out. I had hoped that our recent demise would weed out a few glory hunters.

At least we now have owners who appear to want to uphold the traditions of what made LFC LFC, whatever happens on the pitch short term of that at least we can all breath a sigh of relief.

But when you go telling people they're 'clearly not bothered about our demise' just because they tell you to chill, you're playing the superfan card. My language might have been a lot more pointed, but telling people they clearly don't give a **** about their team probably isn't all that fair or necessary either, is it?
You were mod, I've only just found out that you're not. You could have just said that in your response earlier instead of just saying "I'm not a mod" and trying to make me look a dick.

So what you're saying is that any fan who cares about their team and gets emotional to see them going through a horrible patch is a "Superfan"??

                Ridiculous comment.

Is everyone just following on the bandwagon here or what FFS.

                I'M NOT A GLORYHUNTER FFS!!!!

If I was a gloryhunter I'd have gone an supported someone like else like Chelsea or Utd who have been much more successful than we've been during my time of being a Liverpool fan.

As I've said numerous times already I am ****ing pissed off with putting up with crap, **** boring dull football, I'm sure I'm not alone. I am also sick of the other aspects of football that are killing the game I love, but that's the way it is. I am absolutely passionate about my team and I'd still support them even if they were in the lower divisions, through thick and thin they will always get my backing.

I will never stop supporting them, never. LFC is my life. ****ing pisses me off when people comment as though I'm some gloryhunter.

I think we've found our superfan. Clearly your pedigree as a fan is unrivaled Billob. What an arogant and campasionless response. Are you channeling Thatcher.

I dunno about that. 2008-2009 season we'd played in 2 of the last 3 CL finals and ended up coming quite close to winning the league. That would suggest plenty of potential for glory hunters.

Well I genuinely wasn't trying to make you out to be a dick by saying I'm not, just pointing it out. If anything, I think you've tried to make me out to be a dick by bringing it up in the first place.

As for your interpretation of what I said, no, that wasn't my point at all. I agreed we all get overemotional at times, it was absolutely nothing to do with that. It was your couple of posts suggesting people who weren't being similarly overemotional 'obviously didn't care'. It's hardly a resounding endorsement of their fandom from you, is it?

Can't help but feel you're overreacting a bit. Way I see it you made a poorly worded post while you were pissed off. Why not just admit it and move on?

I have been to hundreds of games and had season tickets just been to very few in the last few years, oh actually you may have a point

                                No worries,

Sorry, I shouldn't have said that you were trying to make me out to be a dick, that was daft on my part so I apologise.

I guess some may view it as me overreacting but I really am hacked off with the whole situation, I was actually a bit pissed when I wrote it hence why I was emotive. I've felt like this for a while even though I have tried to remain positive and keep upbeat, down down it's been eating away at me and I guess the fact that I'd had a drink let me pour my feelings out.

It was just some reactions of the posters that riled me when I was pissed, I viewed them as responses that people didn't really care how bad things are. I guess I kind of took it the wrong way.

I think I need stop posting when I'm pissed tbh, it seems to be the only time I ever really feel like getting involved on this forum is after having a few cans which is quite sad really. I think if I'm pissed in future I will just refrain from posting as I'm only getting into arguments with people and end making myself look stupid.
