That's because it's true. Kelly is a CB by trade and has even played for the first team in that role (sub at PSV away I think it was). When I've seen him at CB he looks the real deal, more impressive than at RB, but there's no harm in putting him there to improve his football education

To be honest if he is stropping at being punished for not turning up on time then I think the problem may well be with Pacheco in this instance. He has the talent by the looks of things but that isn't enough.

I think a loan is probably the right solution (although someone should obviously monitor his progress). With any luck when he comes back he will have a new manager any way.

I think this kid is destined to ply his trade somewhere else less physical. I dont think he can blame Roy for this after all Roy has given him chances remember.

I think he got more- plus he was younger then. Now should be about time for him to step up.

Of course, it's tricky for young players coming in when the team is struggling, ask Insua, but it's less risky fielding inexperienced attackers than defenders- particularly given our woeful attacking unit which could hardly be less potent as present.

Roy gave him chances? When? One start appearance in Curling Cup and one (or two) in Europa League barely qualifies as anything. He is one of best world prospects FFS.

If was not ready why was he kept in the squad? Roy could have loaned him to some Championship team and monitor his progress if he had no plans for him.

In terms of him not being physical , there is plenty of examples where players with the frail built were very successful in PL such as Zola, Juninho etc.

The bottom line, he needs to play so we can determine that either way.
