TBH this situation is more than a little like the ownership saga last season. I think there's little doubt that if Rafa had got us into the top 4 and into the CL then the extra £25/30M in revenue guaranteed would have, in all probability resulted in the other two cunts still being here. The same, I think, applies to the third Chuckle Brother. Results need to get steadily worse to the point of bottom 3 againg for NESV to act. They're obviously in no hurry. I honestly think that they are thinking their tenure effectively starts next Summer. They are writing off this season to get a structure in place. I don't think it lokks like they're arsed where we are this season as long as it's not in the bottom 3.I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

I would be surprised if Hodgson is removed before they've completed their vision / strategy. The replacement will need to fit with that. Getting rid of Hodgson before that is complete will make no sense to them, they will want the new manager to fit in with where they're going.
I think the only thing that would force Hodgson out before then would be a string of poor results that would threaten survival in the Premership.

Agree with this. I think ideally the board would like to keep him until the end of the season and appoint someone for next season. The way things are going though, I think the fans and players will turn against Roy to such an extent that they'll have to take action.
As soon as the board positions are all filled, I think Roy will be gone. Let's hope they find the new CEO ASAP!Statistics are like bikinis. What they reveal is suggestive, but what they conceal is vital. Aaron Levenstein

Nando should be fine, he played through the injury, so it can't be that bad. Bit of tape on the ankle and Bob's your auntie.Originally posted by Baracus View PostSo potentially its already looking like no skrtel, joe cole & Torres due to injury and the suspended Lucas. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

so at the moment
We have torres, skrtel, gerrad and kyut with injury problems nothing yet confirmed
No update on whether these players have improved - joe cole, johnson, aurelio and agger
lucas is suspended for the west ham game
I reiterate again Poulson may come back into the team
So is anyone [craig] still confident we won't lose
At the moment without said players, i have this poor team
Reina
Kelly carra soto konk
Maxi poulson raul jova
Babel NgogLast edited by Baracus; 17-11-10, 11:05 PM.

Not confident, no
I didnt expect us to be without Gerrard, Torres and Kuyt. I read an article saying torres would 'play through the pain barrier' because he didnt want to miss out. And i had also hoped that Skrtel and Kuyt's injuries were the kind of 'wink wink, nudge nudge' pre-international friendlies type of knocks that wouldnt keep them out of our game on Saturday.

We look like we'll be in real trouble if we put that side out - a genuine lack of quality throughout the team.
getting ready for yet another massively disappointing weekend!
