I can relate with this. In my mind it's only a matter of time before he goes so any victories or draws is just delaying the inevitable.

I can easily put up with losing/drawing if it looks like the club is at least going in the right direction or playing decent football but under Roy we're playing ****, standing still & getting beat.

I think when both are at their best it's a difficult one to call.

You could make a case for Cole and Benayoun, much of a muchness (although JC has been **** for us so far, but so has Yossi for Chelsea).

Depressing stuff, really depressing. Especially when we ended up out of pocket too.
In fairness fella, Yossi's only played a handful of games for them before being hit with a nasty injury.

Cole, on the other hand as been an ever present for us when fit and not suspended and i think he'd be the first to say he needs to up his performances.

There's been the odd flash of what he's capable of but nowhere near enough. Hopefully he hits form on his return from injury - we badly need him to.

Put Poulsen & Merieles in the centre with Babel / Kuyt on the wings and give the lad Pacheco a free role behind Torres. Include Ngog, spearing, kelly & Amoo for the subs bench. This is WHU after all.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Is Plessis still on the books?

**** it, we should just play Suso in CM and let him show what he can do

I'd play Shelvey - see no reason not to really. In fact, if I were Roy I'd put out:

                    Pepe
                    Kelly - The Greek - Skrtel - ORLY'oo
                    Maxi - Raul - Shelvey - Babel
                    Pacheco
                    Torres or NGogba

Actually, if I were Roy I'd put out

                    Pepe
Carra - The Greek - Carra -PFK
Poulsen - Carra - Danny Murphy - Raul
                    Carra
                    Torres

                      Poulsen is a no-brainer.

Shelvey and Poulson in the middle?

That midfield would be faster than a locomotive
