Next season is going to be much tougher than last IMO, why we'd sell our best CB is beyond me Brendan needs to convince him to stay.

The issue is with Agger I'm afraid, he doesn't want to be a squad player...

He's too injury prone to get a decent run

Because he is very injury prone & hasn't been at his best for quite some time

He isn't our best defender. He might be, if he could stay fit. But as he can't, he isn't

Much as it pains me to say it
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

                He is not good enough.

                1. Always injured, can't cope with the physical side of the English game....

                2. Which leads me to point 2, he's soft as ****e and gets bullied too easily.

Now if he wasn't made of glass I'm sure he'd be more willing to put his neck on the line and get stuck in. He's lovely on the ball, reads the game well and I think he's our best organiser.

I have no doubt he'd look an absolute star in either Seria A or La Liga. He'd look awesome next to Pique at Barca and he's much better than Luiz.

In short, I love the bloke, love that he really would be here for life if he was wanted, but sadly he has to go if he isn't willing to be a back up player as he'll never be able to hold down a spot long term.
                Forwards.......

He's been a superb servant for us, but players come and go..if only he could've stayed off the treatment table a bit more , he would undoubtly be our first choice centre back..

Think he's been a good player for us but could have been mentioned along the sami hyypia lines, but due to his injuries etc

I say its best to keep him since we'll need more players to get through the competitions next season. While it may not feel like it, he played in 20 games, scored 2 goals and 1 assist. I think we could do with those sort of stats. The previous season he started way more. I'm thinking he was probably not injured as much as we think he was and Rodgers may have been preferring to use Sahko as often as he could. That might be what Agger could be frustrated about. I also absolutely love him.

I hope Agger stays and shoves it back at the doubters. He is a fantastic CB and will get plenty of opportunities next season, even if he is a third choice.
