Just reading few people on here saying Johnson had a decent game or saying that if we had someone of Johnsons ability on the left it would be an improvement on The Konch. To be honest thats not really saying much as Paul Konchesky is one of, if not the worst player ever to wear a LFC shirt, there is hope for anybody out there if Paul Konchesky can forge a professional career in the game. He is an embarrassment to the game of football. Jus tone of the nightmares Roy has gave us to add to several other mares in our squad.

As for Johnson, he got skint "5" times today, 4 times by Gareth Bale, once by Modric for the goal, (combo of him and Carra) woeful defender, gets caught out time and time again, horrendous body positioning and awareness for a defender, complete and utter liability in our defence & his defensive frailties will cost us, as they have done in his time at LFC.

Personally i thought we did well today, could have won but for really poor finishing and the aboration that is Uselessky.

We were good in the first half and reverted to type in the second half identical to what we did against Wigan, so we sat deep and allowed one of the most potent attacking sides in the premier league to come at us, was only going to be one outcome.

Missed chances killed us, gutted.

And Bale had one of his quieter games too, imagine if he was at the races, dread to think the damage he would have done.

completely agree, was one bright spot for me seeing Aurelio back at LB. Kelly although not as good a player as Johnson is a far better defender, personally i'd rather my teams defenders can defender first and foremost.

We get crucified in the wide areas. Johnson was bad but Paul Konchesky i just can't for the life of me understand how this guy firstly cam to be a professional footballer and secondly how the hell he has managed to play in the top flight his whole career, it genuinely begs belief. Should be on Ripleys believe it or not.

Bale had a quiet game but still managed to go by Johnson with ease "4" times, and he did have one of his quieter games, Modric breezing by him for first goal too. Its not only today though, he has played far worse for us than he did today. IMO we need a new RB, i really like Kelly but he is naturally a CB at the end of the day. Depressing stuff watching LFC these days, so many weak links.

You are well out of order there dan. Johnson was good today both going forward and in containing the threat of Bale as well. At first I thought he might have been partially at fault for the Modric cross but Modric ran a great angle. If Johnson had of cut across him he would have given a penno. Carra was the one most at fault there.
