Thought we played well and it was just about our best performance of the season.

Still, Hodgson bought Konchesky who cost us the game again and for that alone he should be sacked.

Konchesky is grade A ****e BUT had Torres buried his chances the least we would have had is a draw. Torres' attitude stinks, if it continues he can feck right off.

Clean through on goal twice and he never looked like scoring. Hey though he's isolated and gets no service.

Their penalty was inside the box though mate. Stone wall peno. Still, it wasn't a free kick leading up to it though.

I think the one Essou-Ekotto one on Kuyt was definite penalty too though yeah.

We played really well in the first half, only got better. Second half started off low tempo for us as we started to sit back for 15 minutes or so, picked up again later and shown some more chances. Out of all the chances we had we were unlucky not to bag 2 more goals. I think it was a good performance, very unlucky for us, I feel for Roy as I thought he had the right game plan going into today's match.

Another thing worth mentioning, I thought the list of yellows shown at our lads today was unacceptable, half of them didn't even deserve a card.

Disagree Matt. We had plenty of chances to score. I would say as many as Spurs. Maxi cost us that match missing that chance at the end of the first half. Kuyt and Johnson got into some great positions on the right, yet the final ball found a white shirt every time. Not clinical enough.

But that doesn't cause a loss a loss mate, we shouldn't have dropped back (again) and Konchesky should have much more awareness.

WTF are you singling him out for abuse? Thought he was decent.

And he was. Sure he is to be blamed for the penalty but he had a decent game overall. While he was in, the partnership with Torres worked well and we finally had more than few high percentage scoring chances. I would like to see them play again as it was finally nice to watch some good football upfront.
