Typically it would be 11th (5 out of 15 seasons) or 12th (4 out of 15 seasons). The best place finish 48 points has got is 9th (1996-97) the worse is 14th (1999-00). The last 3 seasons it would have got 11th place.

Our best away game this season and the obvious reason was that Meireles now played in the middle.

I hope that Roy don't let Gerrard play in the middle when he comes back. Meireles and Lucas should play there. Gerrard should play behind Torres or not play at all.

Konchesky is rubbish. Even Reina would be a better option. Skrtel, his positional sense when it comes down to helping out the fullback isn't exactly top class.

Carra out injured probably a long time. Could be a blessing in disguise because it could mean that Agger stays and get a chance to play when he gets back.

Think the hardest thing about being a Liverpool F.C. supporter now is that we'll chug along winning a few, losing a few and drawing a few. All this does IMO is just prolong the inevitable departure of Roy Hodgson, stunting our progress and wasting time.

Its hard when we get a few wins and you start to get a good feeling about things but all it is, is a false sense of security. We will climb the league but finishing 4th place with Roy Hodgson in charge IMO its impossible. He does not posesss the mangerial qualities, tactical acumen, nor the ability to motivate or inspire his players to challenge in the top tier of the premier league.
