Where does Joe Cole fit into this then if Roy see Aurelio as a Left Midfielder?

I can't believe people are arguing about other topics other than sacking Hodgson as quickly as possible.

What Hodgson is really saying is if I say Aurellio is a LM then it means I can keep playing Konchesky, if I say it's great Aurellio is back and I view him as a LB everyone will be on my back to pick him ahead on his ******* love child

Personally I couldn't give a **** if Dan Perkins thinks Johnson is a bad player or if someone else now thinks Miereles is a good player or if Maxi is getting stick (all just examples)

The single most important thing is to get Hodgson out.

You say we all agree but half the posters on here are encouraged by our display against Spurs when in the cold light of day we could have lost 6-2 with their penalty miss, offside goal and 2 being cleared off the line.

They scored in the 94th minute but played mid week, we looked leggy and deviod of energy and ideas for much of the 2nd half but had a full week to prepare.

Hodgson has done that, constantly repeating we are ****, squad is not good enough, he needs time etc... it seeps into peoples sub concious just like zonal marking and rotation did.
If you repeat a lie often enough everyone will start believing it's the truth.

Hodgson is like a vacum, he saps all the life, energy and enthusiam out of the players and supporters so we accept fits and starts of good football away to Spurs as being good enough.

It's nowhere near good enough and he'll never be good enough. He has to leave and we have to start getting the message across

If our horrendous form continues after NESV have finished bedding in and setting up all the background staff and hierarchy of the club then I will of course start to question their judgement.

Now is not quite the time to start slagging them off yet, it's too premature is all I'm saying. We don't even have a Chief Executive yet.

I know it's hard but we need to be a little bit patient here before we start getting too judgemental I'm afraid.

I'm also frustrated as hell with everything Roy does and cannot wait for an idiot to leave but I can see Roy here for next little while.

I don't think for a second that they see Roy as a long term solution but it is quite conceivable that they considered this season (and next few) to be write offs and they will not make any significant changes in terms of players nor coaching staff until the season is over and then the rebuilding will start.

That said if NESV's plan is to mimic Arsenal's way (young, inexperienced and talented manager, investment primarily in young and upcoming players, new stadium and therefore limited funds for good quality signings etc.) then we will need to prepare ourselves for what you see now more less but without star players and certainly no CL football until the rebuilding is finished, which it can take more than few years.

Sadly I personally think we are just few players away from challenging for CL spot at least and with the new and good coach now that may be easily possible but somehow I don't think that will be NESV way...
