    Martin Atkinson, Liverpool

Pls those who know statistics... better than me,

when was the last time this ref. gave a penalty in favour of LFC.

Or a 50/50 decision and gave it to the reds.

(This is not an excuse for Roy's inability to substitute Ngog or Maxi and bring Babel or Jova. when the team was tired.)

Worse biased ref ever. Yellow card for a fair tackle by Miereles. And I've seen loads of players go up with their hands up in walls never given. Even if you take the bias away, he was just a poor poor ref on the day.
    One tit for another.

I thought he was very bad for us today. But the penalty was one decision he got right.

Replays showed contact with hand was borderline outside. Granted it was hard for him to see but he first quick to blow and second quick to call it inside. Not as quick with the two footed on Kuyt.

To be fair he missed three in the game - two for us one for them. His calling of fouls and consequent carding of players was very one sided though. Total 'homer' referee performance. Although that said he managed to keep control of the match which at one point looked to be slipping away from him.

There was one late on where the Spurs left back (can't be arsed to try spelling his name) came flying into the back of Torres with his knee high. I don't see how that could not have been a yellow card compared to some of the others dished out.

Strange that you won't see Hodgson complaining about referees though.
                Are we winning?

I have to say I don't see what it gets anyone who doesn't have Fergie or Wenger's long standing and power within the game and press. Someone needed to try and break that stranglehold but the only person who tried (Rafa) was vilified for it and it may well be a losing battle until Fergie retires.

He only moans about the lack of quantity and quality of his players. Maybe also about fans wanting us to win games instead of being happy when we lose only with one goal against anyone.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                          It shouldn't have been a free-kick though.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

It wasn't a pen, it was outside the box. But it was a definite handball, complete idiocy by Ngog.

He absolutely loathes us. Its nothing new.

Arsenal earlier this season, Cole off in the first half, horror challenges by Rosicky and Wilshere get yellows, he "evens it up" in stoppage time.

Everton last season, Kyrgiakos sent off in the first half. Fellaini should have had two red cards, gets none, Pienaar should be sent off in the first half gets a yellow. He "evens it up" in stoppage time by sending Pienaar off.

Villa last season. Habib Beye elbows Torres (Who already had a black eye) 3 times, fouls not even given on two occasions.

And even going back years, the Carling Cup at Reading where Torres scored a hattrick, Bikey and Duberry must have tried about 6 leg breakers in that match, it was the most brutal treatment ive seen since the old days, neither got a red card.

Yesterday, 5 yellows for us, none for them, Hutton blatant dive just watches and doesnt book him, free kick that led to the pen was never a free kick, Meireles booked for winning the ball. Ekotto mauls one of ours in the area - no pen, Glen Johnson does exactly the same tackle on Bale - foul and a booking. He's a cunt.
