          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

The problem with our defense isn't at centre back, its the full backs and has been for 2 seasons.

Can we get Ayala back from Hull in January?

I'm not doubting his potential as I've posted before from seeing him live against Lyon onwards it was obvious that he has a hell of a chance of being a brilliant player for us, just not sure he is the better option right now against Wilson as a CB
Er...no. He's played the vast majority of his career as CB but mostly used as cover for Johnson in his handful of first-team appearances rather than in his most natural position where he's much, much better.

I don't see why playing in his best position - CB - he wouldn't be a success, but I'd be happy to see Wilson used too. Either way I'm not remotely bothered that Carragher's out and will be glad to see us hoof the ball less for a change

Not sure, seen a claim on the BBC that we are looking into it. Had a quick look on a Hull site and it appears they quite rate him:
