So with Gerrard and Carra injured who should be captain, should we go with Reina or been suggested by some on other forums give it to Torres.

Any opinions or is there anyone else people would suggest

Personally would be interested to see how Torres would performs with the extra responsibility

No not really. Reina - simple.

Torres isn't exactly leading by example at the moment so not sure he would be the best candidate to lead the team. Although you never know how he might respond to it.

But I'd go for Reina or Kuyt.

As far as I'm aware, it will be Kuyt. I'm pretty certain he's wore the armband before when those 2 haven't played this season. I may be wrong though. I couldn't care: captains are meaningless in football.

Torres looks like he does not give a **** right now so I would give it to him and see if it livens him up. If not, Pepe.

I'd imagine either Kuyt or Reina. I think Reina handles himself like a captain, but I personally prefer to have an outfield player as captain, so I'd probably give it to Kuyt.

Having said that as you say it would be interesting to see if Torres as captain would change his body language or attitude....
