Reina - he commands and deserves more respect than any other player in the Liverpool squad. He is the one player I would be truly gutted to lose.

I thought that we played better without Gerrard yesterday, we didn't rely on one player to drive the team and the balance was better as a result.

Giving it to Torres would only reward his sulking though. I'd love to see something pick his attitude up, but he in no way deserves the captaincy, even temporarily.

though i want someone who leads by example (both sami and SG do or did this well) someone who always keeps there head up someone who constantly talks to the team and gees them up, thats where SG has a weakness but then no one is perfect

Personally i'd give it to Reina. I think roy will give it to Kuyt.. or maybe even Lucas, he was captain for most of our friendlies and the Europa League qualifiers.

Id have no problems with any of them three players being given the armband.
