Thanjk you.

But the three you mention are world class. How many world class players do Spurs have? None. How many do Arsenal have? One. How many do City have? One. They have some good players, but only Fabregas out of those three teams is comparable to Gerrard and Torres, though I like Silva at City.
Gerrard and Torres in tandem up top is better than what any of our rivals have.
As for other players, I think Agger would get in all three teams defence when at his best. Glen Johnson is better than the RB of Spurs (Hutton), City (Zabaletta) and similar level to Sagna.
If I was to pick a dream team from all four teams, I'd take Reina, Torres and Gerrard, I'd also take Johnson over Sagna, and I'd likely take Agger as well.
In fact, tbh it's only the wings where we really fall down. Kuyt and Maxi simply don't match up to the likes of Silva+Milner, Bale+Lennon and Arshavin+Nasri.
I agree with you that Torres, Stevie and Pepe are World Class and while I think Torres and Stevie are superb up top, I think that Drogba and Anelka are equal when both partnerships are on fire.
With regards to Agger, the problem here is the lad is unfortunately injury prone and thus counts him out and with Glen I have to beg to differ as I wonder if he would actually be better as a RM than a RB (a'la Bale).
I think we fall down at LB, CB x 2, RB (if we keep Glen there), LM, CM, CM, RM which leaves GK, AM (just off ST) and ST, the three mentioned as World Class.
The biggest place we fall down against all the other teams that finished above us apart from Villa is team, we are not a team.

But this is only my opinion.
I'm comparing us to City, Spurs and Arsenal. I admit Chelsea and Man Utd are better first XI wise. And yes Agger is injury prone, but the argument was best XI when everyone is fit and on form. And if you think Zabaletta and Hutton are better RB's than Johnson, well I give up. Sagna I could understand, they're of a similar level for me.
I guarantee you Spurs and City would only be too happy to take Johnson of us, in fact rumours suggest they are both after him if Roy doesn't want him.

Even if you compare us against Cityh, Spurs and Arsenal imo they had better 11 starting players than us.
Spurs
Benoit Assou-Ekotto
Huddlestone
Modric
Bale
VDV
Lennon
Cityh
Kolarev
Kompany
Jong
Yaya
Silva
Tevez
Milner
Did not even include Adam Johnson and he's better than any winger we have

Johnson over Sagna? Jesus dude, you're having a laugh.
Sagna is better than Johnson in virtually every dapartment.

Completely agree, our team let alone squad is not as good as we would like to think it is, unfortunately. But hopefully this will change in the not too distant future.

As I said, what I wrote is only my opinion which isn't the same as yours, and I respect your opinion. I'm not going to start shouting that my opinion is correct and therefore the only opinion, I just don't see a very good team or very good players when I watch us play.
I'm sure Spurs would take Glen. I would, though, hazard a guess that City would look elsewhere. However looking at the first XI's of all teams mentioned I would taken any of the others over ours everyday of the week as they are quite simply better bar a couple/few players, which is a minority of players and they are better than us in the most important department, being a team, we are not. We haven't been since we came 2nd. They move for each other, we do not. They have creativity, we do not (bar a couple of players).
Yes we can beat any team on our day but then I would suggest so can most other teams and they are all proving it this season.

Absolutely. We can try to sugar-coated anyway we want to but the fact remains we don't have enough quality and results in last couple years clearly demonstrate that. They got better and deeper squad and they will continue to compete for Cl spot and we can hope at best to be in Europa League unless we bring some quality signings.
