Houllier could'nt have guided that group of players to the Istanbul win as long as he has a hole in his arse, and to descirbe the side that Rafa inherited as "a team of winners which made Istanbul easier" is pushing it, they may in the literal sense have been a team that HAD won..as is every team really, but a team of winners...i don't think so.

Why is that fair? I've got no qualms in him saying he respects Houllier, but those comments are just OTT. He takes a leaf out of Hodgson's overzealous PC's.
