    Liverpool 3-0 Villa- post match

Comfortable win and some real good performances- Lucas, Skrtle, Johnson, Ngog, Maxi. Good stuff all round

Home form is looking good. Just goes to show 442 can work for you if your playing at home and expected to dominate. People say its outdated which is just stupid, its about how you apply it. Man Utd apply it fine at Old Trafford all the time and now were doing it too Its away from home that you need an extra midfielder

    Liverpool 3-0 Villa
    Liverpool 3-0 West Ham
    Liverpool 2-0 Chelsea

      Bugger me. 8th place. I think I'm getting a nose-bleed.
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Congratulations to Reina - 100 clean sheets in 198 games is ****ing brilliant.

Good result, a lot of impressive performers out there today and we've done ok over the last month. We've had a few lows (Stoke was horrible, and Spurs was a sickening result but a good performance).

Have to worry about this Villa team though. They're ****. Utter ****.

Not complaining but 44% of the possession. Uninspiring.

Well my first post in the match thread was, 'Oh dear'.

I replace that with, 'Oh wow!'

What a great performance. What a team performance. Why?

Is it Roy's way getting through, is it because Villa are shocking, is it because Carra, Stevie and Torres weren't playing, who knows? What I do know is this is one happy LFC fan after tonight's performance.

It was a performance where I saw the long lost LFC TEAM, something I haven't seen for a long time, certainly not for a whole game.

Well done lads, you showed what has been missing for about a season and 16 league games.

Easy win against a terrible Villa side. Likewise performances against Blackburn and West Ham. Three easy wins against three teams ravaged by injuries when we played them.

If people are expecting us to be amazing and going on a winning run I suggest you think again. But it was a nice performance. Villa never troubled us. They had more possession, but never did anything with it. I think at one stage they played 20 passes between the defence as we camped in our own half.
                          Forwards.......

Great win against a poor performing Villa, won't knee jerk about it but you can only play who is in front of you and well done to the lads, great all round performance apart form Kuyt. Some top class stand out performances too. Lets push on at Newcastle and Fulham now and we might look in a better state. Arsenal vs Spurs next week so great chance to play catch up

Well done to Ged for masterminding another Liverpool triumph.

Very impressed by Lucas and Ming. They've got the makings of a good partnership and should be allowed a run of games together in the middle.
