This rubbish he spouts at pc's is getting ridiculous.Its funny him saying its not his team again and the owners understand that as if to say that absolves him of any blame.

Rewind back to before the newcastle game and he was saying we might not need to spend in january cos the lads in the squad were starting to prove to him how good they were.Rewind further and he said The squad was not good enough and he might need 4 players in january,rewind further again and he said we were overstaffed,then when injuries started to bite we were suddenly understaffed.

Either he is senile and just forgets what he says from one presser to another or he is so arrogant that he can't except even the tiniest proportion of blame as to why a set of players who finished 2nd and then 7th now find themselves struggling to stay in the top half of the table and churn out far worse performances than under Rafa despite what their poor finish last season may suggest.

I must say I am very impressed by both Henry and Lerner. Henry in particular is a very cool and intelligent individual. He doesn't waste a single word. I cannot see them standing by Roy, they handed the questions about him well, but there was no over-riding endorsement, quite the opposite. They are saying things must improve and you get the feeling they are working harder than we will ever know behind the scenes.

I agree that so far they only talk a good game, but everything they say is what I want to hear (obviously if they said we will be sacking the old goat tomorrow, that would be ideal).

The timing of the interview, the content, the exposure to a degree of the vitriol against Roy... It all points to one thing, sooner or later we are going to see some change. They must know how we all feel.

He is a walking contradiction. You feel he is trying desperately to find some kind of way of talking about the club that we the supporters will also buy into. But he just doesn't get it. He isn't one of us and he never will be.
