Personally i think its the fact that Roy is such a disaster, this fantasy is even being discussed.
As I said in my first reply I know full well it wouldn't be ideal, what with the divisions and the baggage. But I think he deserves a proper crack at it, under stable, competent ownership. Under the combined eras of skint/hapless Moores/Parry, and then the other two ******s, he managed two European Cup finals, one European Cup win, an FA Cup, record points total in the Prem and a very near miss with the title. Plus countless great days and nights. I reckon under NESV he could take us that extra step.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Are we now playing the game where you have to answer with a question?
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I agree with all that yet you say yes and I say no. I've been trying to work out why. All I keep thinking is:

If it wasn't for Dylan I'd probably have been a yes.

I think that's a total myth. Unrest, really? Some might not like him but I doubt there'd be massive uproar or was there ever one? Rafa's 6 years were successful ones, which bring back a lot of fantastic memories to a lot of fans.

I wouldn't want to see him back if we had to wait another 3 or 4 years, it has to be done now if possible, while his ideas and legacy are still there fresh in the memories of people still at the club.
                  Are we winning?

I know Roy is a calamity but i just don't see it an option, he has been here and done his time. Sure he loves the club and still commands alot of respect here but IMO for NESV and the sounds they have been making about what way they want to run things Rafa doesn't really seem a viable candidate.

Especially considering he has already been here, left in bad circumstances, had apparent rifts with certain players, had terrible last season with us, has had terrible season as far as Inter's standards go (might get sacked) and has a reputation of a bit of a trouble maker so to speak at has had controversy at every club he has been with in his career.

IMO i don't see him as a realistic target at all.
