Hyperbolism is a word. Hyperbolicism, as i typed, isnt. However, it was clear what point was being made.

I suspect you dont know what either means, though. Just like you didnt know what 'competitive' meant either, in the context of competitiveness of different football leagues.

        Johnson - yes Eh no
        Kyriagkos - Improved the squad
        Maxi - yes deluded much
        Ngog - Improved the squad

I'd guess that would compare reasonably well against any other manager's transfer dealings.
But your right It would compare reasonably good if you are completely and utterly biased alright.

Luis Antonio Valencia Mosquera (undisclosed, Wigan Athletic)

          Adem Ljajić (undisclosed, Partizan Belgrade)
Ritchie Ria Alfons de Laet (undisclosed, Stoke City)

Which of those has improved the first team?
A lot of those are younger players who wouldn't be expected to get into the first team straight away. The likes of Keane, Riera, Dossena, Johnson & Aquilani were all established international players who were expected to slot into our first team and improve it. The only player on the United list who fits that category is Valencia. Owen, of course, is also experienced, but was never going to be more than a squad player there.

I'm not dismissing the arguement, it's just something that's been done to death already and I have no interest in going over it again.

I didn't call you a **** because of your opinions but because of the way you slate other posters who don't see things the same way as you do. And still you do it.

Do try to understand the difference, there's a dear.
                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

How many of them were bought for their first team? 1 which was Valencia who done extremely well until he got injured, the rest are young and up and coming players, sure some failed but ridiculous comparison between Rafa's buys in the last 2 years and what they offered to our first team.

Valencia was a replacement for Ronaldo.

I made that comment based on the remarks other posters have made on why they voted for wanting Rafa back.

Many said something along the lines of having reservations but him being better than Roy. They're right, but it's not a good enough reason to reappoint Rafa in my opinion. I'm not deciding why people voted a certain way, and it's ridiculous to claim I am, merely interpreting their comments.

At least 3 of the 8 Rafa signings listed, werent for the first team either.

                                Indeed

If he did that there would be bedlam

Wouldnt like to be Roy on the day he did that it could be rather embarassing
