The bottom line is Rafa should never have been sacked. He deserves another chance with us with proper backing and proper management. If he goes to City he will take them to the next level were we will still be mid-table with Roy. Roy is not a Liverpool manager hes proved that already - and he never will be to my mind.

This particular poll is just to show Rafa's popularity over Roy Hodgson IMO, which is a no contest. IMO it doesn't represent do we want Rafa as our new manager if other candidates can also be considered.

And I take the abuse with a pinch of salt, there are some top posters on this site that i have lots of respect for thats why i come on here, even if i do disagree with people from time to time on certain topics, i don't carry my opinion across threads and disagree with them just for the hell of it.

I'll give you an example, i post something, someone calls me a **** straight off the bat for no reason, seriously why would i not take that with anything other than a pinch of salt? If that particular poster posts something that i think is good will i ignore him or argue with him just because of what he said to me? No **** it of course not, i don't take any abuse seriously on here, jesus i'd end up talking to the Samaritans if i did

I have given my fair share of comebacks and took the piss, but only in retaliation. Its just football chat to me, i think some people forget we all support the same team, think i forget that myself with the amount of arguements we have. And thats the royal we and not me and you

I actually had to read that twice. I say IMO because its a forum and its my opinion. What because you created its do you now rule it .

And IMO your thread is blatantly a Rafa vs Roy with zero criteria to suggest otherwise. Someone else put a perfectly good thread with several options which people could not be pigeon holed to thinking "well Rafa is better than Roy" which we all know already, not breaking news so lets vote Rafa obviously!! I think it's clear from the responses early on that the simple question had different interpretations. And nuances, don't forget nuances.
