Eto'o, Milito, Sneijder, Motta, Santon, Pandev, Maicon, Coutinho,

Injuries aside, that's one hell of a set up..
Did i read somewhere it was 42 seperate injuries or was that a wind up???

Do you know what I'd still give him a season - I think he deserves it & if he blows it at least we know and if he doesn't.... If Djimi can have a CL medal why not Poulsen ()

Sadly regarding his man management (I think it is the way of the world) but players need to man the **** up and stop beinging fringing girls - I would love to see what Bill, Bob or Joe would make of the "modern footballer"!!! And as someone who has recently been unemployed I admittedly struggle to have sympathy for them.

    Cheers

      2 of them are kids.
Milito has been injured a lot.
      Pandev is not that good.
      Motta isn't that good.

        Exactly..... Excuses!!

Do you think it would be fair to bring him in for a season and IF it didn't work out, what then?

How is that and excuse? When they played Werder they literally had 2 defenders to chose from Cambiasso and Biraghi (a kid and a midfielder) had to play in defence.

I think it would be fair to give him a whole season, not the remaining half of this already shattered season.

Erm we sack him & then we look at other candidates... If everyone knows the score whats the problem? One year contract - has to prove himself to specified levels by NESV....

I don't see the problem.... if Rafa does - he doesn't love the club the way he says & we look at other canditates now.

He's the one that got away at the moment - IF he fails all by himself then ALL of us fans can move on. No more devision we get behind the new manager (not that I wouldn''t be anyway)

To me it's win win. I have never wanted a LFC manager sacked before Hodgson - it's all abit odd but if I knew where I should be with my pitchfork I'd be there... probably next to Joe Cole... now Roy THAT is a man manager

              Cheers

Never wanted a manager at Liverpool sacked, even the dark days of Souey werent this bad. Its a horrible feeling and one I hope to never experience again as a Liverpool Fan.
Maybe we've just been spoilt with some GREAT, some decent and some very good managers. We've never in any of our lifetime, experienced a manager so out of his depth and who talks so much bull**** its unreal.
The old tosser has gotta go and quick.

Personally Rach, i think that this is the perfect time to bring Rafa back as the situation the Club is in at the mo, get rid of Roy as he can't hack the pressure of such a big Club (ie, teams performance, his signings etc,) and give Rafa a decent tranfer kitty to play with in the Jan window, and see if he can turn things around. What have we got to lose given the mess Roys left us in?

I can't believe what I'm reading on this site!
This football club does not have the funds to keep Rafa happy, by the summer it will be him moaning that he asked for a lighthouse and he got a lampshade.
He will cause a split between himself the players and the owners covering the fact that his man management, negative football and blaming the sun, the moon and the stars but himself for our ****e football 90% of the time, is his own downfall.
It would be same old same old Rafa. Yet again getting sacked for moaning and botching instead of doing his job right.
This club has being through enough hard times of late and Rafa Benitez is not the solution by far. We need a new young fresh face in charge that will be here for the long haul. GET OVER IT, time to move on.

nothing personal, kingfunk, but i hate when people continue to talk about this club as if we are broke. just because we haven't had a chance to spend money doesn't mean we don't have any to spend.

i also disliked the tone of your post, but haters gonna hate

Moratti: "This situation is a bit tricky"

MILAN - Massimo Moratti gave a brief interview to the journalists that were waiting for him outside the Saras offices in the centre of Milan.

Inter.it brings you the full comments of the Nerazzurri president:

Mr president, we were wondering who you were going to lunch with?

                        "Don't worry. I'm going home."

Therefore we shouldn't expect Benitez's sacking today?

"Nothing should be expected. I swear to you I have not had the means to speak to anyone."

Is it true Inter are working to rescind Benitez's contract?

"No. We are trying to understand some things. This situation is a bit tricky. What happened was quite surprising. It is clear therefore, that we are looking at it from every angle."

So today, Benitez is still the Inter coach?

"As long as he is there..."

henry is all about team decisions and consensus. that means, be it comolli or the manager, at one point or another everyone will have to compromise on certain aspects. do you think that appeals to rafa? do you honestly think he'd fit into such a structure and cut out the moaning and complaining?
he might short term just to get the job back but imho he can't help it.

i want unity, i don't want infights, i don't want dirty linen being washed in the public. if there's issues the should be solved behind closed doors. you know you don't get that with rafa.

Moratti seems to be back-tracking a little. Could he be trying to oust Rafa without paying his contract off?

IMO, that's really not true, so he had problems with the owners from hell and Moratti, that's perfectly understandable IMO. What else is there?

he only ever moaned & complained at the fans, other managers, never for LFC? all the fighting rafa did was for rafa's benefit only you think?

if he comes back to us he comes back on their terms surely and works within their strictures. or do you get the feeling that NESV would just carbon-copy the previous regime's methods and talk through the press about every ball-ache going on at the club?

no disrespect fred, but it's this myth of division about rafa that pisses me off immensely. if he comes back, if he accepts the deal & that includes running the team & certain players don't like like it, then i hope the door doesn't hit them in the arse on the way out...
I'm in a glass cage of emotion!
