'A campaign to bring Rafa back! Really? Liverpool fans never cease to amaze me with their blind stupidity."

Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

moratti? that's still the same man he hailed as a "football man" just a couple of month earlier?
      valencia ...
the moores and parry reign ... even then he publicly talked about his unhappiness about the way we do our business.

no disrespect fred, but it's this myth of division about rafa that pisses me off immensely. if he comes back, if he accepts the deal & that includes running the team & certain players don't like like it, then i hope the door doesn't hit them in the arse on the way out...
i don't doubt that - at lfc at least - he did what he did because he thought it was the best for the club. there's no doubt in my mind about that.
the thing is though, he does it in very undiplomatic way which again some may admire but fact is, he burns his bridges, he doesn't build alleys and thus finds himself isolated, fighting a lone course and causes fractions among fans and players because of antics alone. and i don't want that anymore.

I can see your criticism here cos he is uncompromising/undiplomatic. (He has had to deal with some very unreasonable people though).

Seriously, you think Moores and Parry management are competent? Rafa was basically saying what we knew all along.

                you're missing the point completely.
imo he shouldn't have criticised them publicly because it only causes rifts that have an effect on everyone at the club. the club shouldn't make headlines for the wrong reasons.

Just a thought, but if the Bodger had won what Rafa had in 6yrs at the club and under similar conditions, the media and the pundits would be singing a different tune for sure....he'd be held up as the greatest Modern Day English Manager..

They'd be bringing up all the hassle with owners, broken promises...missing out on first choice targets....having to sell to buy...zero net spend... etc etc. all the time hailing the job this great man had done...representing england in europe with liverpool fc.

To be fair, if Bodger HAD won what rafa won, he WOULD be the greatest modern day english manager

i would like Rafa back but he needs to cut the politics. Also what manager does get exactly what he wants? not many.

if he sorts that out and he is given adequate backing then yes i would want him back. If thats not the case then someone else.

Aye, although, believe me I'm not as much as a perfectionist or as passionate as Rafa about my own career! Football is a slightly different err.. ball game, even if similar skills are involved.

I see your criticisms, Rafa is far from perfect (no one is), it's just that I think that his good points outweigh his bad to such an extent that I'd bring him back regardless of the collateral damage player-wise.

So what else could he do when Parry acted like a snail in the transfer market and allegedly stopped a few transfers going through? Do you want a yes saying man that is happy when he is being treated like an idiot? You can take the Gerrard to Chelsea situation after we won the CL when it was more important to Parry to go on holiday than to do his job and offer Gerrard a new deal. The incompetence showed by Parry almost cost us Gerrard.

You probably want us to do business that way.......
