Couldn't agree more. Barret & Evans completely shot their load on that one. FWIW I 'understand' that The Times haven't a ****ing clue what NESV think about anything. They do have a hotline to Kenny Huang thoOriginally posted by PC Plod View PostJesus, how many people do they need to write ome article FFS?
Don't trust the Times after their "China buys LFC debacle."

It isn't madness, for a start he is the only available world class manager around and he already loves the club and he no longer has to contend with asset stripping owners.Originally posted by destinydude View PostNot signed. Madness. Absolute madness indeed
You may not like him, but it is far from madness, madness would be giving Roy a transfer budget.

tough one this - on one hand Rafa is a top manager, of that there can be no doubt and there's not really many out there that we'd be able to get into the job straight away of his calibre; on the other hand Rafa does divide opinions with some of us supporters, he's obviously had some falling outs with some of the current squad and I worry how they'd take to him coming back and can he tow the party line with the new owners and board?
He's not my ideal choice simply because he could cause more issues than he solves saying that he's a bloody good manager and there's not a load of them sitting in the job queue waiting for employment!

Either we get Rafa in or write of this season and don't care what happens. That is more or less the only options.Originally posted by rcasemore View Posttough one this - on one hand Rafa is a top manager, of that there can be no doubt and there's not really many out there that we'd be able to get into the job straight away of his calibre; on the other hand Rafa does divide opinions with some of us supporters, he's obviously had some falling outs with some of the current squad and I worry how they'd take to him coming back and can he tow the party line with the new owners and board?

This season is already a write off, the worst I can remember.Originally posted by Arn View PostEither we get Rafa in or write of this season and don't care what happens. That is more or less the only options.

That is because maureen is a cunt who only works with giant budgets though.Originally posted by Drago View PostEven Mourinho wouldn't save this season, so Rafa has no ****ing chance. Getting in a decent manager before the January transfer window would have been a good idea though.Last edited by Mattshark; 24-12-10, 07:17 PM.

No, we can still finish top four if we get in a good enough manager. The top teams drop points very often so a top four place isn't out of the question if NESV act now.Originally posted by Mattshark View PostThis season is already a write off, the worst I can remember.
It will also show how ambitious NESV is. Do they care about this season or not? They need to show strength and they need to show it now to show everyone that they are here to win and not just talk talk talk.
To write off this season would show a big weakness and **** winning ambition.
NESV can still "save" the season. Will be interesting to see if they care about doing that or not.Stop the cyberhate

First job he had, since then however.Originally posted by Drago View PostAgreed. Especially that Porto side he won the champions league with.
No more of an achievement than Rafa winning it with us or winning La Liga with Valencia.
