And to think people were defending the cunt Purslow a while back. That article clearly shows Purlsow was playing football manager..... I really hate the way Hodgson tries to deflect responsibility and constantly tries to defend himself and his reputation. That article cannot be good for Joe's confidence in my opinion. I dunno anymore...........the majority certainly don't believe anything he says, and there have been numerous times over the last few weeks when you can almost see the puppeteer at work when he's speaking (must be those shifty eyes). Not quite sure he believes what he's saying anymore, just one constant barrage of cliched, reactionary comments interspersed with various foot-in-mouth observations when he has to think for himself.

Would never wish harm on the man personally, but the sooner he goes the better for all concerned. He'll be OK, as he'll have his media allies to excuse his termination, plus his elite coaching badges to fall back on so there'll always be some cushy non-demanding position available for him.

I can only hope that anyone saying such things is obviously joking in an internet forum kind of way (please tell me that's true)........would hate to see such vitriolic comments being made within earshot at matches etc
