I've never known a Merseyside derby to not be sold out, so long after tickets went on sale. That game is in February. The fact that it's still not sold out has nothing to do with weather really.

Granted, it has a loyalty pre-requisite attached to it, but even that's piss poor - available to members with just ONE home PL game recorded on their membership card from last season.

And it still isnt sold out.

Me neither. I've been on the Fan card list since 2004 and season ticket list for much longer. Games like this are/were gold dust during Rafa's tenure. There is no entertainment value at any level under Roy.

Fair dues No doubt the weather has played a part in recent weeks but I was also looking for other possibilities but you've shot that down alright

The only ones going to Anfield now are those who do it out of habit it seems. I speak to people going up and it seems they'd rather not go to the hassle. The weather plays a part, but they openly admit that if the football was entertaining they'd go up in a blizzard, never mind a spot of cold weather.

Then there's those who'd rather not go when part of them would happily see us lose to push Roy over the edge. It's a very sad state of affairs.
          Forwards.......

I'll be more then shocked if Aurellio starts. If by some minor miracle he's fit then PFK will still start ahead of him.

Is the more likely for me. I don't think we need Lucas sitting deep personally and would be better served with the 2 strikers plus Gerrard coming from deep to effect.

Really? I can think of a few other ways to sum you up perfectly.

                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
