He`s 52, and hasn`t got the greatest record, so I\dont konw if he`s the right person for LFC.

He's never stayed at a club at the top level for longer than 2 years.

His three jobs before Hoff were Stuttgart, Hanover, and Schalke. They all sacked him very quickly.

I see nothing in his CV at all to suggest anything decent about him.

If I'm honest I'm quite intrigued by what I've read about him over the last couple of days, I quite like the sound of him. At the very least we'd play good football.

To be fair, Rafa has been sacked a fair few times in his career, he hadn't done a lot until his breakout success at Valencia.

Rangnick did a tremendous job at Hoffenheim, it could be argued that is his breakout success.

I just don't want a negative vibe about Rangnick to start to build up, as I think there is a pretty good chance that he could be our man when all is said and done.

If we sign him up then it isn't because he would be a better choice than Rafa. It would be because of politics, nothing else.

Rafa is a better choice 24/7.

But he probably would be a better choice than Rafa, who has arguably ultimately failed in his last 2 jobs and on top of that, has a negative history with a number of the squad.

Rangnick has been a huge success in his last job and his Hoffenheim team have played some fantastic football whilst making the most of young players coming up through the ranks.

He's not my first choice by any means but I can see the logic behind appointing him.
