Thanjk you.

With our game in hand, we could be 8 points off 4th at the halfway point. With the inconsistency of all teams this season, i wouldnt say that our position means we're out of contention. Especially when we still have Spurs to come to Anfield.
I would

Depends on who comes in and when, we need to win tonight and get rid of Roy to have any chance at all. That's what bugs me really, not trying for it, the owners basically threw in the towel too early and decided to see through the season instead of appointing a caretaker and take chance on finishing higher. Roy is, and that has been obvious for many weeks, blatantly not good enough.

Well we're ****ed then, because the game is tomorrow

Even if they had sacked Roy after the derby I doubt we'd have got 4th BUT...
We'd be showing improvement and the manager will have been able to start getting his ideas across, I think we'd be seeing improved performances but maybe not significant improvement in results
Under Roy we are regressing and my biggest worry is his tactics becoming ingrained because that is going to take a lot of work to undo

Again. Why would you "follow" someone thus allowing thenm the conduit to abuse you. Wouldn't you just stop following them?
The world is full of all sorts of people, stop making so many utterly unfounded and baseless assumptions about other people and how they opperate based on you rown limited imagination and experience.

Upset owners at Valencia, Liverpool and Inter (and probably previous clubs as well) Hmm theres a common theme there and just why is that?
Quit your jibber-jabber. Am i supposed to see Rafa moaning about G&H as a bad thing..? Was his lampshade/table leg analogy a cardinal sin?
Give rafa a couple of weeks break and an honest fresh start at LFC and he'd be fine. He only picks fights with owners when they bull**** him or undermine him. There was no moaning under Moores because they were honest with him about resources and supported him and his decisions.

When they bought the club they promised no big cash injections, and I have posted a few times that all we needed was someone to come in and clear the debt, allow all opperating profit to be invested in the team and then facilitate the new stadium.
What this means is that LFC wont be challenging (bar managerial miracles) for 3 or 4 years as our high turnover and the financial fair play rules perculate through the league. I have resigned myself to that for a long time and consoled myself with the knowledge that when we get back on our perch we will have earnt it the old fashioned way and not bought it like a bunch of chavy sheik arseholes.
Having endured the last 20 years, I can quite easily put up with that as an interim period without throwing any rattles from the pram.

This
Except I'd go as far as saying ten years to get back challenging for major honours.

If they had sacked him after the derby I think we'd have stood a good chance, but now I think a sacking would be likely to result in a top 7 finish, something like that. We have lost stupid, stupid points after the derby only due to awful setup of the team and negative tactics.
But getting rid of him also has a good effect on the fans (me at least) and might actually get the supporters to get behind the team, plus lifting some of the players IMO.
