My teacher said looking out of the window wouldn't get me anywhere. I had a smug look years later handing him his Burger at the drive thru!
Operation Anfield Exercise is a test to check stewards know what to do in the event of an evacuation. Basically head stewards stand at the front of the stand, deputy head stewards and safety stewards go to the emergency phone as wait for further instruction. Exit gate stewards have to be next to their gate and await instruction should they have to open there gates manually if the electric fails in the gate. Crowd stewards like me basically have to be alert and visible in case required to help evacuate. If you ever hear it without the word exercise at the end then that's when you worry!!
