To be honest, if I'd just survived a potentially life threatening condition involving being confined to a wheelchair for six months, I'd probably be shagging/headbutting/dancing with every man and woman in sight, I'd be that overjoyed and excited.

He was very frustrated at not getting first team action after recovering from Guillain-Barre Sydrome IIRC. He just snapped in a ressies derby game and chinned some bluenose, wouldn't say he's a bad boy overall really.

Pennant & Bellamy...not so great.

Gonzo is superb news, quintessentially stunning 'boy band' looks, which, in all honesty, we were in desperate need of, seeing as Xabi, Stevie and a couple of others have already well and truly ticked the 'rugged' box.

Bellamy is bad news. Pennant's a grey area, in my opinion, get rid of the 'fro, minus the 'bling' and pin back the ears and you never know, he could yet be a dark horse.

Aurelio and Paletta are much of a muchness.

I'm not convinced Xabi is "rugged", Jamo.

I think his boyish haircut softens the face and allows him to look just conventionally handsome (although there is something a bit wonky about the eyes).
No-neck's a lost cause, and I don't hold out much hope for Pennant. I bumped into him (literally) in London once and he looked a bit shifty and weaselly in the flesh, and the ears are Dumbo-esque.

Palletta has potential in the strong, non-nonsense, silent-type mode.

Potential striking options do not look promising if Kuyt rumours are to be believed, but there is a dearth of handsome forwards available and affordable.
