Besides the happy feelings I really think you couldn´t point out enough how important this decision in fact was.

        - NESV gets a lot of time to sort things out as Kenny is taking a lot of pressure away from them, even if he doesn´t win on a constant basis, cause he´s Kenny

        - The whole agenda against Rafa will have an end now as Kenny will in no way putting any fire into it, which will be important in order to leave the past behind

        - The media will have a tougher time with playing their agenda driven games as the Hodgson story is put to an end

        - and finally the most important thing: THIS is the time when players power will definitely have an end as there is no way that ANY player is able to put himself over Kenny. They know that there´s nothing they can do about when Kenny takes a decision. Be it playing Gerrard on the right or Carra on the bench.

        - In order to prepare the right decision for the improving our squad the team Comolli-Kenny looks like a very good combination in order to bring everything back on track again. Selling Konchensky, Poulsen, bringing Insua back... I reckon they will make all those sane and right decisions what you could expect from serious leadership on the pitch.

I am excited and very happy although it should have happened two month ago, then it would have been possible to have a go for 4h. But anyway, better now than never!!!

Come on Kenny, come on the redman!!!!!
Excellent post. So many problems seemed to have been eased immediately. I won't care so much if we lose now, at least i know (or i bloody well hope) we'll have been playing a more modern/progressive style with passion.

Great. I am back in love with Football.
Exactly, I won't be overly bothered if we lose (of course I want us to win) but what I do want to see is, more effort, more passion and a group of players playing more as a team with movement.

Welcome back Kenny and good luck.
The great thing about this is that at the very least it gets everyone pushing in the same direction.

On a slightly different note, I would guess that it also means that our next permanent manager is currently in a job, which I guess rules out Rafa.
                      Really?

I've just woken up to this news.... URRRRGHHHH, Sooo good!!!!!

This is going to change everything. I'm not expecting miracles with results, but this WILL bring the fans on the same level finally, the end of Rafas reign and the start of Roys we saw all kinds of BS, respect to both of those managers though.

I hope to see a massive change in attitude, I don't know if I'm the only one who's going to say this, but with Kenny in charge does this make us a more attractive club to be at? for players I mean. I certainly think so.

Massive respect for Kenny taking up the task. He is a true Legend, he said before if he felt he was needed he would always step up to it and he has gone through with that.

Great respect to NESV too, they seemed to have listened to the fans like they said they would. I hope the people who were doubting them quickly come around and support them, Henry seems like a decent bloke so we seem to be in safe enough hands.

Bring on the game tomorrow. Going to work now, and I'm in complete ecstasy!

Welcome back! it' s been almost 20 years (one month difference) since he managed the club. what a coincidence! His last game was an FA Cup tie. His first now is also an FA cup one!!!

Good luck! the fans are all behind you!

I hope so. Dalglish has said it needs everyone (including supporters) pulling in the same direction.
