Other than the decent year he had with Fulham, I still fail to understand why he is regarded as a top manager. His stats are shocking.

He has managed a total of 20 clubs in 40 years. The longest stint and his most successful period was 1985-1990 with Malmo. Apart from the league titles he won in that period, he has never actually won anything.

He finally got a second chance to manage a top club after his failure at Inter and proved again that he is not a top class manager. Roy was found out.

          RESPECT? Where?

Treated like dirt from so called 'Fans'. He was offered the job and he took it, who wouldn't? He was the fall guy while the players were the real reason for our poor performances. RESPECT? He didn't get any from a lot of 'fans'. I wish him the best of luck.
The booing of Konch, the chants of Rafa etc was embarasing in my opinion.

So you don't think his ridiculously dated tactics, his criticism of the fans and his failure to defend his players has anything to do with it?

He was a horrible appointment from the get-go and in hindsight it is not surprising that it ended this way.

What it was surprising to me that he showed no class whatsoever and no respect to fans, players, previous managers (and club itself in nutshell) that cannot be forgotten and disregarded.

On that note, I have nothing positive to conclude about him and I'm completely indifferent to what happens to him next..

I don't want to slag Roy off personally, he is gone.

What i would say is that from the start, he under estimated the club, the fans, our expectations and he devalued our traditions of how we go about playing the game of football.

He was right to take the job so far as in, how could he refuse it! Who wouldn't have jumped at it. So i understand why he took the job. The only problem was that he was hopelessly out of his depth from start to finish.

I believe he should have been sacked weeks ago, for damage limitation, but alas that didn't happen and we have lost yet more valuable ground on the chase for 4th place, which probably is out of our reach at this stage. Henry and the boys might live to regret their lack of urgency come the end of the season.

Anyways he's gone, a black spot in our clubs history. We need to curb the bitterness and push on, Kenny is here. Its what so many of us wanted and harped on about for so long. Lets hope it doesn't blow up in our faces. Delighted The King is back and pray that we push on as a club.

"I was disappointed – and I’ve told him this – that he – Dalglish – applied for the job in the summer because I don’t think that was ever really going to happen for him."

I'm just glad that he's gone. Now that he's no longer damaging our club I couldn't give a toss about him which is the kindest thing I feel that I can say. It's a massive relief to finally move forward and hopefully now we can start playing football.

I agree. Let him move on somewhere else. West Ham would be perfect.

Don't make us look any worse in the media's eyes.

According to some paper in the gossip column he gets 7,5 million compensation, that's more than Rafa who had a longer contract, of course no-one picks up on that. Roy will not get an ounce of respect from me, I loathe him.
                            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

If that is true, the £7.5m compensation I mean, then it's a ****ing disgrace. Surely it can't be that high?
