i know - it's just a joke we had as kids as i went to a 'rough' school compared to Calday Grammar which was pretty close - we all played football and drank in parks....they played hockey and ruggers

I was suprised with how rough hockey actual is, when at uni my flatmate played to a high level and we may have had this conversation before - certainly had this convo with someone on here.
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

yeah i remember having this sort of conversation before.

one good thing about hockey for me was when you were sat out in a park in the pissing rain i was sat in a bar on a sat after a game in the dry warm and getting pissed. we always had a beer after a game from 13 onwards.

i remember being gutted at 17 when we got a proper barman (i had done stints behind the bar for free drink what you want lad before this) and he wouldnt let me have a pint.

i dont think hockey is a rough game, it is physical but usually not that rough. you certainly dont get that footballer rolling around behaviour though. if your team mate gets injured it is your duty as a player to laugh at him for being a girl.
