Why dont we put in a bid for Samba? 6-7m should be enough. Strong in the air, capable of scoring 4-5 goals a season, has the ability to pick a pass, versatile..He fits in perfectly and will be a perfect replacement for Carra when he is no longer the first choice CB(may be in a couple of years?)

Liverpool being Liverpool they'll sign a few ****e defenders for fees of around £7m and end up with an average defence. We should just splash out on a top young CB and have done with it.

Gary Cahill is the man. Strong, good in the tackle, good in the air, can pass a ball out of defence short or long and has good pace. He has room for improvement but he's got it all. £20m is too much mind, to contradict what I just said

Either we spend money in this area or give youth its chance.Wilson could do no worse than Skrtel who is having a mare of a season and really only had one good one which was his first half season.

Kelly has to be first pick at right back now too.

Johnson Kelly Agger Aurelio would be the line up for me at the moment.

Kellys young but seems confident in himself and to be honest it really can't get any worse than we've been at CB.

however ignoring that i agree with the left half but the problem is how many times is that left side fit never mind fit at the same time?

i agree that they are the best two we have, but it doesnt matter if they only play half the games.

We've just got to keep battling and not turn back to the ****house tactics of camping out in our own area. We were solid in the first half, just a jolt losing Agger and conceding the first goal that set off the panic alarms.
